Connecting Australia With Opportunities in Africa

Many industry experts predict it is the next frontier in oil and gas exploration, with more hydrocarbons discovered in recent years than anywhere else in the world.

Welcome to Africa Oil, Gas and Energy Conference 2016, an emerging industry event that connects professionals from the Australian oil and gas sector with local governments, project and investment opportunities.

In Africa there are 54 countries. Australia has embassies in only three. Companies looking to expand, invest or operate in the region are often isolated and face huge support challenges.

The event is held over two days in Perth, the heart of Australia’s resource industries. The conference has quickly attracted interest and support from market leading companies and governments alike.
The inaugural conference in 2014 saw more than 300 people attend from across Australia and Africa.
Delegates learn and discuss the latest opportunities and challenges in Africa, while the conference environment offers excellent networking and a chance to form strategic business relationships.
The event is organised in partnership with the Kenya-Australia Chamber of Commerce, the Kenya High Commission Canberra, the High Commission of the Republic of Uganda, the Australia – Tanzania Business Council and the Embassy of the United Republic of Tanzania in Japan to bring Africa Oil and Gas Conference to Australia.
In 2016 it will be held on Monday 5th September at the Hyatt Regency.
